APMEX offers a superb selection of Walking Liberty Half Dollars.

Many consider the Walking Liberty Half Dollar to be America’s most beautiful silver coin. They are also one of the most widely collected of all U.S. coins. Designed by Adolph A. Weinman to replace the Barber coinage that had circulated since 1916, 'Walkers' had significantly high mintages. During 1916, the mintmarks appeared on the obverse, while 1917 was a transitional year in which the mintmarks appeared on both the obverse and reverse. From that point forward, mintmarks always appeared on the reverse.
