Mid – Day Gold & Silver Market Report – 12/17/2010
At 12PM (CT) the APMEX precious metal prices were:
- Gold price - $1,372.90
- Silver price - $28.97
- Platinum price - $1,699.20
- Palladium price - $741.00
COMMENTARY: The precious metals market is not doing much today. The only news story with impact is the one mentioned earlier in the Morning Commentary. Moody's gave Ireland a significant rating cut. The Euro is dropping as well as world stocks.
Gold price is up 70 cents since the morning commentary – Silver price is up 7 cents – Platinum price has dropped 80 cents – Palladium price is off $4.00
Like I said, there is not much price movement in the precious metals market.
