At 4PM (CT) the APMEX spot prices were:
- Gold - $1,382.20
- Silver - $24.66
- Platinum - $1,715.30
- Palladium - $605.60
COMMENTARY – Although Gold and Silver did not trade above the highs hit overnight, the spot prices did end up higher than they began the day’s trading. All 4 metals were very active. There was a late day rally in the US Dollar and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose a bit to end the day down only - 1.51 points. This was the first loss in 5 trading sessions for the Dow.
