I bought several of these in 2007. Like all gold bullion, it has steadily climbed in value since then. However, unlike bars, I think these coins will hold their value in time. No image captures the American west like the obverse and reverse of these coins. I also like that the Buffalo is 24 karat gold unlike the Eagles.
