I thought I'd try it out and order 10oz the first. I requested 5oz be in 1oz and the other 50z be in a 5oz. While they did send me a 10oz bar, APMEX also sent a letter with the shipment explaining that they were currently out of the 5oz bars. I mean hey it says their choice under the description and you get the silver you paid for regardless of whether it's brand new or older and dinged up. You know what I can't complain and because someone took the time to inform me of why they were unable to fill my exact request, I'll be buying here again. Definitely worth the money.

Very exciting way to purchase silver, like a box of chocolates ha. Ordered 50 ounces and received two older 10oz loaf bars, a 5oz Year of the Dog (1994), and a monster 25oz loaf minted by Classic Coins. Overall, fun purchase will choose this option again.

We thought this might be a way of changing from our regular 1 oz. rounds/bars and Silver American Eagles and we were not disappointed. Found some items we did not know existed. Some were tarnished and some were in decent shape. Based on the low mark-up this is the product for people who are looking for metals at spot price and think they'll take them to a refiner or pawn shop when ready to sell as most of my pieces would not be recognized by the average silver bullion consumer.

Ordered my first from this catagory and received some interesting pieces. One 5 oz ingot which was quite the suprise for everyone who saw it plus a very nice somewhat tarnished bar with a christmas scene on it. Love the whole order and will be buying more from this catagory. Like suprises buy this lot, just not too much I want to get more very soon.
