These are beautiful coins. They are a little smaller than a US quarter with a lettered edge. This is a great way to obtain nearly 1/5 of an ounce of gold at a low premium over spot.

I really love the look of this coin! I would disagree with this coin essentially being the same as a $5 American Gold coin as far as content. The GAE$5 is .10AGW where this coin is .1867AGW.

This is one of my favorite coins. I believe it is essentially the same as a $5 American gold coin in terms of gold content and diameter. The markup is a bit high for these old European gold coins, but if you enjoy collecting, I recommend adding one or two to your collection, especially if you like roosters. :)
