Bought 8 on a whim and ended up with a mix of mostly airplane and holiday themed ones- majority were Silvertowne. Sort of a fun change. A ding here, a scratch there and some tarnish on the oldest one (marked 1982), but nothing major. I'd buy again for cheaper 1oz bars.

These are great! I ordered 20 ounces and received 20 1 oz Apmex bars....most were excellent with some a little tarnished and all in individual plastic sleeves....great deal!!!

You get the silver plus some of the art bars offer a premium. My favorite was the Bah Hum Bug bar. Many of the art bars are limited issue in 70's early 80's. You know these have been melted left and right over the years. Who knows what buy and hold will bring on some of these. Some of them can easily fetch healthy premium today for a located motivated collector. Plus they are fun!

I received an older version of the APMEX 1oz bar (no eagle design, just the info, brand and website are stamped), sealed in a plastic case and in practically new condition! Since this selection process is random, you may get an unappealing bar but nonetheless you are guaranteed a .999 silver troy oz bar (and you may get a nice looking bar like mine)

I thought I would be 20 a try, and turned out quite happy about it! All were in very good condition, albeit some tarnish on some. Was an interesting mix, had a few really cool commentrative bars of airplanes and Nasa space vehicles. I like shiny silver so a bit of polish and the pleasure of "playing" with my silver turned out very good.

Ordered 5 of these as gifts. Wasn't expecting the best quality, to be honest. APMEX did keep to my request, which was nice (thank you). However, -1 star because 1 of the 5 bars was in pretty bad shape. Nice and shiny, but one of the corners was bent pretty bad. Nice if you want there to be a an element of surprise if you want a gift for yourself.

I ordered 20 of these recently, saved a bit of money overy new bars. Extremely pleased with what I got, nice variety, and all were in very good condition except for some expected tarnish with age. I like my silver shiny, so I polished them to bright new condition. Great deal.
