The pictures don't do the coins justice. They are a perfect proof finish and put an un-circulated American eagle to shame. I would take this over an un-circulated American eagle any day. Far as I'm concerned, my search for bullion is over. This is the real deal.

Since my first purchase starting mid year of 2011 I have had the opportunity to make three additional purchases. I buy in lots of 20 and receive them either in the sealed sheets and / or the 20 coin tube. Either way for me is perfect. We all live in a very uncertain time. Silver will always have value and with the industrial applications and the way people are buying it up for the " what if" it will hold its value with no problem and probably only go much higher over the next year or two. I like to buy when APMEX has the sales to save me money. APMEX has been for me 100% right on. From the ordering, the billing, the shipments, and the deliviers have been perfect. Purchased more of these to go with the first 5 I purchased. This time none had come out of the plastic sleeves, but still disappointed that the sleeves are not sealed like the gold rounds are. Very fast shipping and will be buying more as metals are a good investment to hedge against the deflation of the U.S. dollar.

This was my second purchase of 20 coins. Came fast as my first order was on back order. First order came in a sheet of 20. This order came in a tube. Put on the cotton gloves and took a peak. Did not have spacers as I had previously read in another review but they are packed so tight they do not need any spacers as they cannot rub and a piece of filler was placed in the tube so all was well. I have no preference as to the sheet or tube as both work well for me. Either way both of my orders have been perfect. Easy to order, easy to track the order, good shipment method

Randy from Tennessee says This was my first purchase. I ordered 20. I had requested that all 20 be placed in a tube. I wanted to be able to see all 20 and did not want to touch so I had second thoughts on this request but I left it as is. They came to me in a wonderful nice sheet of 20 that I really like. Can open to look and fold it back for storage. For me the from the mint air tight sheet will be better. The shipment was shipped when they said it would be and it arrived as they said it would. For me everything was perfect from start to finish. I had some questions as a first timer and my phone calls questions were answered and everyone I spoke with was extremely professional. I hope to make addtional purchases. I had no problems.

My very first silver coin came to me in the mail just now. I was very happy to see all the trouble aimed went through to make sure that my coin was packaged safely. It was in a box about half the size of a shoebox, with brown packing tape all over it. Inside of that box was a padded envelope. Inside the envelope was my coin in a nice plastic pouch. However I wasn't happy to find that after all of that packing my coin was less than stellar. The background of the coin seemed to have what I thought was dust on it, but it doesn't wipe off. Also there was a pretty noticeable nick on the outer rim of the coin. But even with all of that, I'm very happy. The coin still looks remarkable. I'll order from apmex again, but I hope next time the condition is a little better.

I just got one of these for free as part of APMEX's mobile site promotion. It's not as pretty as the Silver Eagles or Canadian Wildlife series, but it's still an ounce of pure silver. If you are not a collector or don't want to pay the extra premium for those mint coins, this is a great choice.
