This Silver Turtle Dreaming coin showcases the artwork of Darryl Bellotti, an Australian Indigenous artist of both Yamatji and Nyoongar descent. The coin's reverse design is inspired by his boyhood memories of a hunting trip in northwestern Australia. Portraying a sea turtle, the design shows the animal surrounded by patterns of dots, symbolising the hunters’ journey, and circles, representing the places where they stopped. The Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are shown on the obverse.
