The 300th anniversary of the founding of York County, Maine was the reason that this coin was minted. It depicts a rendition of the shield of the Seal of York County on the obverse and a depiction of a fort (Brown's Garrison) on the reverse. It was designed by Walter Rich of Portland. Nice white coin graded MS65 by NGC.
