This Silver denarius depicts the emperor Maximinus I who ruled from A.D. 235 to 238 (18/20mm, 2.6g). The obverse features Maximinus' right facing bust surrounded by "MAXIIMINVS PIVS AVG GERM." The reverse of "PAX AVGVSTI," shows Pax standing.
This example is graded Choice Extra Fine by NGC. It is a a high quality coin with sharp detail on both portrait and legend. Rome mint.
