1792-94 Kentucky Token - Plain Edge - Choice Almost Uncirculated
 
This is a truly beautiful Colonial Coin! It is well-struck for this issue. This Kentucky Token is the Plain Edge variety. These tokens were struck in England, just after the Revolutionary War, for circulation in the Colonies. Each of the 13 Colonies is represented by a star, identified by its initial letter. It is simply called the Kentucky Token, because the "K" star is at the top. This coin has glossy brown surfaces and the obverse (non-starred) side is nearly semi-proof-like. Simply put, this is a terrific colonial coin that will not last long!
