1893 Isabella Commemorative Quarter MS-61

The Isabela was the very first United States coin to ever portray a foreign monarch on it. This coin was struck to satisfy the demand from the Board of Lady Managers of the World's Columbian Exposition. Charles Barber designed the coin and the obverse depicts Queen Isabella of Spain. The reverse depicts a kneeling woman with distaff and spindle which is emblematic of women's industry. Nicely lustrous specimen grading MS61.
The coin pictured is the exact coin you will receive.
