Scarce and Originally Toned 1936-D Cincinnati Commemorative Half Dollar accompanied by the original 3-coin 'leatherette" distribution holder. The obverse of this coin was stored, face down, in the holder, so it is beautifully and originally toned. The coin was stored like that so the mintmark would show. The 3 coin holder has gold lettering stamped into it that says "CINCINNATI MUSIC CENTER ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE HALF DOLLAR P D S" the holder allowing for one of each mintmark to be included in the holder. The reverse side of the coin which was face up, is very frosty white. This is a great combination with a beautifully toned coin and an original holder. The coin grades MS66 and is wonderful!
