1880 James Garfield & Chester Arthur Political Medalet

Nice medalet of the 1880 Presidential Campaign of James A Garfield. The obverse shows the conjoined busts of James A. Garfield for President and Chester A. Arthur for Vice President. The reverse shows a US shield with "J. A. GARFIELD C. A. Arthur" inscribed around the shield. This is a brass medal, 25mm in diameter, with some light gold color still evident. The medal is now a reddish-brown color. Holed for suspension as usual. A neat presidential campaign medal from one of our martyred Presidents.
