1,800 year old Roman Silver!
These Silver coins were struck sometime during of the reign of Emperor Caracalla (198 - 217 AD). Approx. specifications are 19mm and 3.4g.
The obverse features a bust with the text "ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM." The reverse designs may vary. Graded Almost Uncirculated by NGC.
Caracalla's real name was Marcus Aurelius Septimius Bassianus Antoninus. Caracalla was a nickname derived from a hooded cloak of Gallic origin that was his favorite form of dress.
