This simple eagle design feels free and patriotic to me. I also like the big "Made in America". Good to know we still make something. I like that it doesn't have any branding on it. I'm not someone that cares who minted it. I only care that it’s .999 pure. I also really like the smooth side of the coin which makes it feel more like a precious metal and less like a cheap coin. These are actually cool enough to give as gifts. This is my favorite silver round on APMEX.

I agree with everyone else's reviews that the eagle design is very nice. Made In America is more pronounced than the purity of the silver. I actually like this coin better than the buffalo/Indian head.

On a partriotic point, I bought these rounds. Like the Silver Eagle rounds they are not the most impressive in design compared to the 1804 or Morgan design but they are cool to own if collecting for a variety of design. I do not like the idea of inscribing on the back. I only collect rounds that do not display a denomination on the back. Luckily most rounds sold through APMEX do not have the this inscription on their backs. What would be the purpose anyway?

Very nice silver coin. Ordered 3 but the coins came in a little ruff around the edges. Still pleased with my order but they could of handled the coins with a little more care in there wear house. Well still order more silver coins and bars from apmex as i have before. Thanks apmex

I like the "Made in America" and all that but I really like the smooth backside that is perfect for engraving names and birth dates for gifts and other special events.

Not only does this particular product NOT disclose the website of the manufacturer as many others do, it has "Made in America" stamped into it giving it much more perceived value. In addition the Eagle stamp offers Global recognition with the US which of course reinforces the "Made in America" value :-) All in all, this is our choice for secondary markets and nondisclosure to foreign purchasers :-)

The 1804 Silver Dollar Design is, IMHO, the bullion round of choice for me, but this coin is what I purchase next in quantity. I know, silver is silver, but I like a good design....it adds to the visual quality.
