Issued by Gibraltar in 2001, this 5 Crown is the larger version of the world's first tri-metal coin! This innovative coin has an outer ring of Silver surrounding Gold, which encases a Platinum core. The obverse has the usual right facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, and the reverse celebrates the new millennium with a collage of historic images.
Struck at the world famous Pobjoy Mint, this coin contains .865 oz Platinum, 1.64 oz Silver and 2.36 oz Gold. Comes with case of issue and certificate of authenticity. Listed in Krause as KM#907.

Very beautiful, unique, fine and special minted coin. I'd like to get the second one if the coin and the certificate states the "unique" (specific) numbers on the coin and its certificate. It is ashame they didn't do it.
