This 2009 Proof Silver coin contains 1/2 oz of .999-fine Silver and features a colorized lionfish on the reverse. The Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are shown on the obverse.

Each coin comes with a certificate of authenticity in a presentation case, which is packaged in a colorfully illustrated shipping box. When lined-up in release order, the shipping box illustrations form a linked image depicting all five reef creatures.
