This product was part of my first order with APMEX. I paid by check and received the items speedily. I buy physical silver for use as barter in the event of a precipitous decline or collapse of the dollar. I believe having silver in this smallest denomination is well worth the price above spot, given its potential usefulness and the steady rise of silver. If silver hits $100, imagine if you need to barter for something less than $100 or even less than $25 (which would then be the 1/4 oz) price? While I buy silver bullion only for the value of the silver itself, this coin is impressive and precision-minted. Would love to see it in other ounce sizes. Will definitely buy more. Now I'm interested in purchasing other APMEX brand rounds.

These were part of my first purchase from Apmex. I paid by check and the coins arrived much faster than I expected. I bought these to add a smaller denomination of silver bullion to my 'emergency' barter fund, which I'm building up in the event of a precipitous decline of the dollar or outright collapse. I'll definitely buy more. The silver content is what I'm interested in--but I'll add that these coins are precision-minted and I was impressed by the detail. Suggestion for improvement: the marking indicating "1/10 troy ounce .999 silver" is so microscopic it can't be seen by the naked eye.
