This set includes the 2008, 2009 and 2010 $50 Gold Canadian Maple Leaf coins that commemorate the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Each of these 1 oz, .9999-fine Gold coins has the Susanna Blunt-designed likeness of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The reverse features a different design for each year: the 2008 has a large maple leaf with a small talisman above the Olympic logo, the 2009 features a large thunderbird surrounded by small maple leafs swirling in the wind created by the wings of the thunderbird, and the 2010 depicts a hockey player between two maple leafs.
