Perhaps the prettiest coin I have in my collection so far! The kookaburra is a close contender and both are very lovely to turn and observe from different angles. I love the contrast in the mirror-like shine and the frosted portions of the Panda. I also like that it comes in it's own capsule (and a little plastic bag over that). Really enjoy this coin and believe it's definitely worth it even with the higher markup. Nice way to mix numismatics with bullion collecting.

The Chinese Silver Panda bullion coin far exceeds the beauty of any other bullion coin. The picture does not capture the detail or beauty of the coin. I ordered these from another site, but I figured I would drop a review for others. This coin looks 1000% better in person. The photo for this coin does not give this coin any justice. Its in the same fashion as the 2009, 2010, and 2011 coins and in my opinion, the critics have been way to harsh on how this coin really looks. The reverse proof design is simply superb. Held at the right angle, the shiny portions of the silver appear to darken, where as the brushed surfaces begin to lighten, and the Panda looks true to life. The Chinese Panda's are by far the most beautiful silver rounds in the world. Their attention to detail is flawless. Amazing coin. Amazing price.
