These Gold coins are part of a series of coins issued by the Bahamas in observance of the 500th anniversary of the Discovery of America by Christopher Columbus. Gold content of each coin is 0.1875 oz.

The obverse depicts Queen Elizabeth II. The reverses vary, but all depict various images relating to Columbus' historic 1492 voyage. Dates range from 1985 through 1992. These are tough coins to find as most had mintages of under 1,000!
