This 2011 Silver coin features a Surgeonfish. The Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are shown on the obverse in beautiful Proof finish.

Each Silver coin is housed in a display case with a CoA and stunningly illustrated coral reef shipper. Each shipper joins with the other shippers in the series to create a superbly illustrated underwater scene.

The colorful Surgeonfish is found along the coast of Western Australia and throughout the waters of the Great Barrier Reef from Queensland to northern New South Wales. The most distinguishing characteristics of this marine species are its amazing ability to change color and its extremely sharp scutes and fins which give the Surgeonfish its name.
