"S" Mint Mark Double Eagle!
All coins are dated in the 1800s and come from the San Francisco Mint in the Wild West! All coins in this listing were minted in the 1800s by the San Francisco Mint. The San Francisco Mint originally opened in 1854 as an outlet to serve the Gold mines and supply the West with Gold during the California Gold Rush. Coins struck at the San Francisco Mint bear an "S" mint mark which on Type 3 $20 Gold Double Eagles can be found below the eagle's talons on the reverse above and in between the words "Twenty Dollars." These coins are highly collectible and contain .9675 oz of pure gold. That's nearly an ounce of Gold in a coin more than a century old! Coins in this listing are graded MS-62 by PCGS. Years will be of our choosing.
