The obverse of the Noah’s Ark coin displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia along with the value of “100 DRAM” and the issuing year beneath it. The weight “1/4 Oz” and “Ag .999” are noted along the right and the hallmark LEV of the Leipziger Edelmetall Verarbeitung (Leipzig Precious Metals Factory) is on the left, all of this in encircled with the words “REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA” in both Armenian and English.

The reverse of the Noah’s Ark coin was designed by Eduard Kurghinyan and displays a dove in flight with an olive branch and Noah’s Ark floating on the flood waters in front of the mountain Ararat and the rising sun.
