This affordable 2012 1/2 oz .9999 fine silver coin from the Royal Canadian Mint displays old-world craftmanship and skill with evident quality. It features a one-year-only, rampaging dragon with the Chinese characters for "Year of the Dragon" and stylized clouds that represent good fortune. The obverse shows Susanna Blunt's design of Queen Elizabeth II of England. Comes to you in a red pouch with gold and red design as well as the inscription, "Wishing you a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous Year of the Dragon." The included certificate of authenticity is numbered and tells the tale of the Chinese lunar calendar as well as characteristics of those born during the Year of the Dragon. This would make a great gift for anyone born in the year of the dragon! The year of the Dragon also ruled 1904, 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988 and 2000.
