This sterling Silver coin from Belarus has been oxidized to give it a unique antique look. The design is full of intricate detail that makes it seem as though it has been carefully hand-carved. The obverse of this Silver coin features a circle consisting of all 12 signs of the Zodiac , a stylized version of the sun and moon with the astrological sign of Taurus below, and the inscriptions for "Taurus”" in Latin and in the Belarusian language at the top. At the top center of the obverse is the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus, while beneath the Zodiac circle is the year of issue and alloy standard. Inscriptions along the rim include “Republic of Belarus” and the face value of 20 roubles.

Featured on the coin's reverse is a stylized bull (the symbol of Taurus) with an inset of red zircon crystal eyes. Surrounding the bull is a geometric ornament of Greek columns.
