The obverse has an image of the eagle, which was established as the state emblem of the Republic of Poland. Both sides show the extraction chamber in a Neolithic flint mine. Krzeminoki Opatowskie contains nodules of striped flint, one of the most beautiful flint varieties to be found in Europe.
