The 2005 Gilded Silver Lunar Year of the Rooster features a rooster standing tall and proud with a flower and a sunrising behind him, Collaborative design. The Ian Rank- Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are shown on the obverse.

Over 47,000 Gilded coins were minted in the polished surface and just a select few were lucky enough to have the matte finish.
