This .428 oz, .925 fine Proof Silver coin depicts a stork on one leg in a marsh with the inscription "The stork, the fir trees are her house” (PSALMS 104:17) and the date "1998-5758" in English and Hebrew. This coin is the eighth release in the Holy Land Wildlife series produced by the Holy Land Mint.

The 1 NIS coin has a mintage of 2,147 coins and is no longer available from the Holy Land Mint. There are no coins graded higher on the current NGC census!
