First coin in a four coin series of Australian Seasons.
This Proof Silver coin features a Red Kangaroo against the background of an Australian beach scene, design by Ing Ing Jong. The design also includes the inscription SUMMER and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are shown on the obverse.
The coin is housed in a contemporary display case, allowing a clear view of the reverse and obverse, and comes packaged inside a beautifully illustrated shipper with numbered CoA.
Summer in Australia, which is in the southern hemisphere, takes place in the months of December, January and February. Hot days, endless blue skies and beautiful beaches are a hallmark of this season.
