This coin was also struck in a historic year, since 1881 was the year that Czar Alexander II was assassinated, allowing his son to become Czar, as Alexander III. The Russian Imperial eagle appears on the obverse of this coin. This choice coin has been graded Mint State 64 by NGC. Very few of these exist in such a high state of preservation.
