This Proof Gold 100 Euro coin contains .920 Gold and has been graded as a PF 69 Ultra Cameo by NGC. This beautiful Sower coin pays tribute to the new franc launched Jan. 1, 1960. This commonly called Franc Pinay or de Gaulle was one of the instruments of economic structural reform of France. On the obverse is the original Walking Liberty design, the Sower of Roty. The reverse, the center of the room, an olive branch though an ear of corn, the outer top, marked "fiftieth anniversary" of the new franc written in cursive.
