This beautiful .900 Proof Silver coin is from a new collection launched by Monnaie de Paris highlighting the technological excellence of French trains and stations. The Lille Europe station came into service in April 1994 at the launch of the high-speed line north. The station was designed to welcome Eurostar trains traveling through Lille, heading for or coming from Brussels, London and Paris.

The obverse shows the contemporary design of the Lille Europe's roof, as well as a map of the cities to which the station leads. The reverse has the three TGV (Trains à Grande Vitesse, or high-speed trains) along with the face value of 10 euro. Each of these beautiful Silver coins comes in a box and with a certificate of authenticity.
