This 2012 coin has finally been released! Yves Klein is recognized as one of the most important French artists of the postwar period. Klein was a pioneer in the development of Performance art and is seen as an inspiration to and as a forerunner of both Minimal and Pop art.

The obverse of this 10 oz Proof Silver coin shows the French artist's hand coated with its famous International Klein Blue he is about to apply on a canvas. The reverse depicts the other material Klein used, monochrome materials. Coin comes in a beautiful blue Monnaie de Paris box and with a certificate of authenticity.
