2011 America the Beautiful Silver Coins - 2011 marks the second year of the America the Beautiful National Parks Quarters Program. Each year five National Parks will be highlighted in this series that will last twelve years. The order of mintage was determined by when the parks were established as a national protected site.
In addition to the circulating quarter, the U.S. Mint has also produced a quarter-sized Silver Proof and a larger 5 oz Silver bullion coin both made of .999-fine Silver. The same 5 oz size is also available in a special collector's version specimen coin that features a unique frosty finish and a mint mark, differentiating it from the bullion version.
APMEX is proud to offer a wide variety of these Silver bullion coins dated 2011. The series was kicked off in 2011 with Gettysburg in Pennsylvania, followed by Glacier in Montana, Olympic in Washington, Vicksburg in Mississippi, and finally Chickasaw in Oklahoma. The reverse of each of these 5 oz Silver bullion coins depicts stunning representations of each national park.
