2013 America the Beautiful Silver Coins - 2013 marks the fourth year of the America the Beautiful National Parks Quarters Program. Each year five National Parks will be highlighted in this series that will last twelve years. The order of mintage was determined by when the parks were established as a national protected site.
In addition to the circulating quarter, the U.S. Mint has also produced a quarter-sized Silver Proof and a larger 5 oz Silver bullion coin both made of .999-fine Silver. The same 5 oz size is also available in a special collector's version specimen coin that features a unique frosty finish and a mint mark, differentiating it from the bullion version. The 5 oz sizes will be released by the U.S. Mint periodically throughout the year.
APMEX is proud to offer a wide variety of these Silver bullion coins dated 2013. The 2013 series was kicked of with White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire, followed by Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial in Ohio, Great Basin in Nevada, Fort McHenry in Maryland, and finally Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. The reverse of each of these 5 oz Silver bullion coins, which will be released periodically throughout the year, depicts stunning representations of each national site.
