PCGS Certified GSA Morgan Dollars - In 1964, after the government finished exchanging out all Silver dollars, a large supply of mint sealed bags of Silver dollars were found and the Government Services Administration (GSA) was in charge of their dispersal. There were more than 3 million coins in the hoard, most of which came from the Carson City Mint, at that time thought to be relatively scarce.
PCGS has created unique slabs so that these Morgan Dollars could be certified but still be encapsulated in their original GSA holders. These are hard to find, and we have a wide variety of years and grades to choose from!
