North Africa Currency
North Africa Currency - During World War II, the US government put things in place to protect itself in case enemies got a hold of large amounts of currency. For troops throughout North Africa and Sicily, this meant carrying Silver Certificates with yellow treasury seals (instead of the blue seals characteristic of the times).
