Henry Lyons has more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance, having held leadership positions in both private and publicly traded companies with operations around the world. Since December, 2011, he has been Chief Financial Officer of APMEX Inc., where he is responsible for all global finance activities and processes.
Prior to joining APMEX, Mr. Lyons was Chief Financial Officer for Gain Capital (NYSE:GCAP), a global provider of online trading services, specializing in foreign exchange and contracts for difference (CFDs). At Gain, Mr. Lyons was responsible for all global finance and investor relations functions, as well as human resources, real estate, and institutional sales. He also led the IPO process for GCAP in 2010.
Previously, Mr. Lyons was Chief Financial Officer for ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ:ACIW) and also held executive financial positions at GE Healthcare and W.R. Grace & Company. Mr. Lyons began his career at Ernst and Young. Mr. Lyons has extensive experience in driving growth and productivity initiatives as well as global expansion, and is well versed in online services and monetary instruments.
Mr. Lyons obtained his Bachelors in Business Administration in Accounting from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS, and his Masters of Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology. He also holds the designation of Certified Public Accounting (non-practicing).
