Thomas Randon Senior Vice President, Marketing

Thomas Randon has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and general management. As Senior Vice President, Marketing, Mr. Randon oversees the APMEX brand strategy, customer acquisition, development and cross-sell, creative services and customer analytics. He joined APMEX in October 2011.

Prior to joining APMEX, Mr. Randon worked at Ogilvy New York for five years on a variety of blue chip general and digital marketing client engagements. Most recently as Senior Partner, Executive Group Director, he led all digital marketing on the TD Ameritrade account – including digital advertising, site marketing, digital innovation and social media strategy. He also ran all Motorola advertising for North America.

Prior to Ogilvy, Mr. Randon spent 4 years at Dotglu, the CRM division of Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners. As Director of Interactive Marketing, he managed Dotglu’s interactive practice, overseeing the strategic formulation and delivery of interactive programs. In particular, he was part of the team leading the revamp of BMW’s customer acquisition and loyalty programs in the US. Mr. Randon’s other client experience at Dotglu includes brands as diverse as Edward Jones, Diageo Reserve Brands, Panasonic, Old Navy, Hartz and Beech-Nut.

In his prior interactive agency experience, Mr. Randon managed web engagements for a variety of Fortune 1000 companies, such as Reuters, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield or Unisys.

He started his career as a fixed-income trader at BNP (now BNP Paribas) where he was registered Series 7 and 63. Mr. Randon is a graduate of HEC Business School in Paris, France.
