Random years will be of our choice and may or may not vary, determined by stock on hand.

The Peace Dollar is highly sought after by collectors, as it experienced one of the briefest minting periods of any U.S. currency and also was the last Silver Dollar to be minted. This popular design was minted from 1921 to 1928, then again in 1934 and 1935, due to changes in legislation.

Anthony di Francisci's Peace Dollar was the result of a contest looking for a new dollar design. His unique rendition of Lady Liberty was based on the actual Statue of Liberty, resulting in a patriotic and familiar look. The eagle on the reverse clutches an olive branch in its talons, symbolizing peace and commemorating the peace seen after WWI.

Peace Dollar

The Peace Dollar is a widely recognized US Mint Coin. The 90% silver content makes it a good bullion selection to stack. Plus it is a nice collectors item. My Grandfather was a WWI vet and he gave me my first one when I was almost too young to remember.

Peace Dollar AU

Recognized coin. Attractive design. They aren't making anymore! With those considerations, I ordered a couple. One came as stated, AU, the other arrived with an old patch of corrosion. E-mailed customer service, received a prepaid shipping label and apology. No questions asked. Shipped out old coin and received a nice AU coin back in a reasonable turn around time. First time I've ever returned a product out of several thousand dollars worth of product. Excellent customer service! I'm staying with this company.

Beautiful examples of my favorite silver dollar ....

I've been adding a couple Morgan and/or Peace AUs to my orders, and the latest two are typical: absolutely gorgeous, lustrous examples of this beautiful coin, no wear on the high surface detail, only a tiny fleck or two of black dirt on the flats. I've got a BU-graded one and it's near impossible for a non-professional or advanced collector to tell the difference, and the price gap between AU and BU is enough for most of us to go for the AUs. As I noted on my review of the Morgans, you should expect common mintages - these were 1922 and 1923, and the last ones I got were 1922s, about as common as it gets - but you aren't paying for specific years, you are buying from APMEX's grab bag. You might get lucky and land an unsorted rare date. If not, enjoy the commons. Whatever their rarity, they are still more beautiful than any coin minted in the U.S. today.
