Comments about 1989 1 oz Silver Canadian Maple Leaf (Brilliant Uncirculated):

I purchased this 1989 coin because it depicts Queen Elizabeth II as a 39 year-old which was only done on Maples in '88 and '89. It is a beautiful coin and was shipped in excellent condition, as advertised. As usual, APMEX did a superb job.

        The Canadian Silver Maple ...

Comments about 1989 1 oz Silver Canadian Maple Leaf (Brilliant Uncirculated):

The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is just my favorite silver coin. The simple design is so well executed and finished. Photography never seems to do the Maple Leaf justice. Side by side, they hold their own with any silver coin out there for pure beauty of design and consistent perfection of strike and finish (the awesome proof-like finish). I particularly favor this 1989 as it remains available at a bargain price, and is the last year available with the "young" Queen Elizabeth II. I have collected additional newer years (for example 1990, and 2010) in order to own the designs depicting the middle-aged, and then senior-aged Queen . . . all well done. If you haven't handled one of these, take a look at one (IN HAND). You'll be impressed.
