AU coins were as described. 100+ year old coins, a piece of American history for a competitive price. Bought 10 and received a wide selection of dates & mint marks. Packaging was like Fort Knox.

Pros

  • Attractive Design

  • Collectible (lower mintage)

Received two nice Double Eagles, one 1896 and the other 1899-S. One is probably on the low AU side, but the other on the higher side. Beautiful coins and a nice chunk to hold. I got these because they went on sale and wasn't disappointed. APMEX has always been prompt and courteous, with great products. Thanks!

Your service is great, however the extra cost for credit card transactions is burdensome. Can you do something about it?

Nice example of AU

Pros

  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Conservatively Graded

First buy was probably a low AU raw coin. This purchase was a PCGS graded AU 58 for the same price. Very pleased with this coin. I'll probably buy or specify PCGS when buying $20 Liberties because they are difficult to grade and most coins have multiple scrapes and scratches.

Looks Great!

This is the first gold I've bought. I honestly don't know much about it, but they look as advertised and I'm happy.

Pros

  • Attractive Design
  • Recognized Brand
  • Easy to Sell

If anything my ONLY complaint is a small knick along the rim but I'm sure thats common from a coin well over 100 years old. The condition was as described, almost uncirculated! They even went as far as to give me the date I requested. Very amazed with the service. Will be coming back for more!
