What can I say, the $20 Gold Double Eagles are beautiful in superb AU condition. The last 2 I purchased I was extremely surprised as my last purchases of the double eagles came in Flips, but these last 2 were graded (AU55 PCGS and AU58 NGC) and slabbed. A very nice surprise. Thank you APMEX made many purchases with APMEX and happy with them all.

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)

Received two nice Double Eagles, one 1896 and the other 1899-S. One is probably on the low AU side, but the other on the higher side. Beautiful coins and a nice chunk to hold. I got these because they went on sale and wasn't disappointed. APMEX has always been prompt and courteous, with great products. Thanks!

Pros

  • Attractive Design
  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Collectible (lower mintage)

Your service is great, however the extra cost for credit card transactions is burdensome. Can you do something about it?

Nice example of AU

By  Doc

First buy was probably a low AU raw coin. This purchase was a PCGS graded AU 58 for the same price. Very pleased with this coin. I'll probably buy or specify PCGS when buying $20 Liberties because they are difficult to grade and most coins have multiple scrapes and scratches.

Pros

  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Conservatively Graded

Looks Great!

This is the first gold I've bought. I honestly don't know much about it, but they look as advertised and I'm happy.
