1863 $100 (T-56) Lucy Pickens XF+

This is a well preserved example of this Confederate issue! This $100 note was part of the 1863 issue and features a central portrait of Lucy Pickens, wife of the Governor of South Carolina. Two soldiers are at lower left, and a likeness of George W. Randolph, who was briefly CSA Secretary of War, at lower right. The back of the note is prited in green and shows the denomination and backing notice. Catalogued as T-56. Grade: Extra Fine plus with claims to AU.
