I ordered 40 War Nickels and I was impressed with them. One however was a worn Buffalo Nickel. I emailed and called as directed by Apmex.

Very Nice Coins

Pros

  • Recognized Brand
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Value (low premium over spot)

Cons

  • Poor Condition
  • Lack Of Variety

I ordered $3 face value of these nickels to try to fill up my book. They are a very inexpensive way to obtain silver, but at a cost of condition. Most were black or really dark, a few were damaged, and a few more were scratched. Another issue was that I didn't get all 11 different war nickels, but i wasn't really expecting to get all of them. Overall however, I am pleased with my purchase, and will probably buy more in the future.

These are very cool. Still wrapped in a coin roll, these war nickels look very nice. The outer coins look to be in good condition and the price compared to spot price is quite reasonable. I would definitely recommend to others!

Silver at a low premium!

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Easy to Sell
  • Recognized Brand

I enjoy collecting US silver coins, so these were a must have for me. The premiums are also lower on these nickels than on 90% silver US coins. I would recommend, however, that you unwrap and confirm that the coins have the proper mint mark (above Montecito) and the rolls contain the full 20 coins. I've purchased about a dozen of these one dollar rolls, with one roll a coin short, and another with a non-silver 1942 (both types were minted that year).

Pros

  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Value (low premium over spot)

Got a nice tightly rolled roll of nickels. A decent assortment of dates from all years except 1942 which is probably to be expected. Condition was good overall only one or two were very worn, all dates readable. Filled some album spots.

Good value and came as described.
