These coins exhibit the slightest bit of wear and maintain the majority of their original luster. Add these Almost Uncirculated Morgan Silver Dollars to your cart today!

Dates on these random year coins will be of our choosing and may or may not vary, determined by stock on hand.

The Morgan Dollar holds a special place in U.S. coinage as it was the first coin to feature Lady Liberty with an American look, rather than the traditional Greek style. Her cap is adorned with wheat and cotton as a tribute to America's agricultural history.

The image of the eagle was also updated for the Morgan Dollar, showing a proportionally correct eagle with beautifully designed feathers. He carries an olive branch, showing America's desire for peace, and is perched atop a bundle of arrows, signifying America's readiness to defend her borders against attack.

The Morgan Dollar flooded the markets from 1878-1904. Nearly two decades after production halted, the Morgan Dollar was seen again for one year only, in 1921, due to a renewed desire for this iconic, beautiful design.

Morgan's are the most recognizable coin in American History. Everyone should have one in their collection. The question is how do you want it. You can spend a ton on certified coins. You can pay a high premium to get hand picked BU's. Or you can do as I did, roll the dice. I got an 1889 in which I would give a high AU grade to, so I am quite pleased.

Pros

  • Attractive Design
  • Easy to Sell
  • Recognized Brand

Cons

  • Common (higher mintage)

The Morgans were average, quality with some ugly marks and scratches. All were common date. I ordered ten and and received 6 different dates. Wasn't pleased with the order. Next time I will order BU and probably call around to see if I can get all different dates.

It's a very cool coin to own. Mine was definitely in AU condition, and it looks great sitting in an air tie. It's a very cool little piece of history for a small price.

Not bad

Received three Morgan's billed as AU. In my opinion, only one was AU. Of the two in question, one was lightly cleaned, and the other was in poorer condition than AU (in my opinion). All in all, I guess the coins were acceptable, depending on how picky you want to be.

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
  • Easy to Sell
  • Recognized Brand

Cons

  • Unattractive Design
  • Common (higher mintage)
