Dates on these random year coins will be of our choosing and may or may not vary, determined by stock on hand.

The Morgan Dollar holds a special place in U.S. coinage as it was the first coin to feature Lady Liberty with an American look, rather than the traditional Greek style. Her cap is adorned with wheat and cotton as a tribute to America's agricultural history.

The image of the eagle was also updated for the Morgan Dollar, showing a proportionally correct eagle with beautifully designed feathers. He carries an olive branch, showing America's desire for peace, and is perched atop a bundle of arrows, signifying America's readiness to defend her borders against attack.

The Morgan Dollar flooded the markets from 1878-1904. Nearly two decades after production halted, the Morgan Dollar was seen again for one year only, in 1921, due to a renewed desire for this iconic, beautiful design.

Piece of History

By  Ryan

It's a very cool coin to own. Mine was definitely in AU condition, and it looks great sitting in an air tie. It's a very cool little piece of history for a small price.

Pros

  • Attractive Design
  • Easy to Sell
  • Recognized Brand

Not bad

By  Alexander

Received three Morgan's billed as AU. In my opinion, only one was AU. Of the two in question, one was lightly cleaned, and the other was in poorer condition than AU (in my opinion). All in all, I guess the coins were acceptable, depending on how picky you want to be.

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
  • Easy to Sell
  • Recognized Brand

Cons

  • Unattractive Design
  • Common (higher mintage)

Beautiful!

By  ExHack

Ordered 2, got 2 beautiful Morgans with flawless unworn high engraving and luster (the original finish on the flat surfaces of one is proof-like, amazing for a 125-year-old+ coin). These two were an 1881-S and an 1889 - nothing rare, and you shouldn't expect rarity when buying from the grab bag, but beautiful nonetheless. I plan to continue adding one or two to each future order and who knows what surprises I'll get!

Pros

  • Easy to Sell
  • Mint Condition
  • Attractive Design
  • Recognized Brand

Give them as gifts

By  CJ

What else can you purchase for this amount that is as an impressive and beautiful gift? I've given these to many people already, to graduating seniors and younger children as well. They all love them. They're especially intrigued by the mint dates. It's a great way to start them on investing for the future.

Pros

  • Attractive Design
  • Value (low premium over spot)
