These coins are dated from 1922-1925 only. Random years will be of our choice and are limited to stock on hand.

The Peace Dollar is highly sought after by collectors, as it experienced one of the briefest minting periods of any U.S. currency and also was the last Silver Dollar to be minted. This popular design was minted from 1921 to 1928, then again in 1934 and 1935, due to changes in legislation.

Anthony di Francisci's Peace Dollar was the result of a contest looking for a new dollar design. His unique rendition of Lady Liberty was based on the actual Statue of Liberty, resulting in a patriotic and familiar look. The eagle on the reverse clutches an olive branch in its talons, symbolizing peace and commemorating the peace seen after WWI.

Possibly America's Most Beautiful Coin

By  Neil M.

Simply put, this coin is an art deco masterpiece. Stylistically it's a tour de force, and the engraving has a certain "softness" that makes this coin glow in a way my other coins can't match. The BU condition of this almost 100-yr old coin is superb.

Pros

  • Value (low premium over spot)
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)

LOL! = Lots of Luster!

I received mine in a nice tight sleeve, and with ALOT of luster on the coin. It had the typical BU bagmarks, but that isn't as important since many coins have that regardless of the year it was produced. I am really happy with this purchase, I just wanted to finish my American Silver Dollar set and this one did the trick. APMEX has the best packaging among any other precious metal dealers hands down.

I didn't buy these for their numismatic value, and as expected the dates/mint marks are not in short supply. The coins are indeed BU, and as always packaged very well. Thanks again APMEX for delivering exactly as advertised. These are beautiful coins to pass down to future generations.

Pros

  • Mint Condition
