                  Of the three: angels, roosters or swissies, I think I like these rooster 20Fr better than the rest. Both sides handsome design. I have one from 1913, year before WWI. makes you wonder what French café was this coin sitting in when the Germans crossed the frontier and the world changed forever.

                      This is one of my favorite coins. I believe it is essentially the same as a $5 American gold coin in terms of gold content and diameter. The markup is a bit high for these old European gold coins, but if you enjoy collecting, I recommend adding one or two to your collection, especially if you like roosters. :)
